Our client is a Japanese Tier-1 Automotive Supplier located in the Terre Haute Indiana area.  Due to growth, they are expanding operations.  Our assignment, recruit a LED Equipment Engineer II.  This leader will design, develop and sets-up equipment, provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing in order to maintain production process.  Studies product / process design feasibility and provides feedback to product launch team.  Maintain, review and approve concept drawings for new equipment.  Research new LED components and develop safe means of assembly and testing.  Understands and recommends ESD control devices and techniques.  Develop test equipment for assembly line testing of components or lamps.  Will train team members and create equipment set-up guidelines for LED assembly and test equipment.  Establish and communicate detailed timing to design, build, run-off and delivery of new equipment.  Determine initial equipment capability through trials and evaluations at the vendor prior to delivery.  Duties include; set-up new equipment on the manufacturing floor and provide ongoing plant support and establish process capability during new equipment start-up.  
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology plus 2 to 4 years in automotive parts manufacturing, hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment engineering.  Working knowledge of standard business software and CAD.
