Bob Jones & Associates, Inc. is a U.S. based recruiting firm.  Our client has grown to be the national leader in the automotive aftermarket with sales in automotive & industrial paint products.  The combined experience of their members enables them to provide products and services needed to grow small manufacturing, automotive and repair body shops nationwide.  Currently, our client is looking to hire an Industrial Sales Manager based in the Dallas, Houston or Austin, TX area.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:    Responsible for the area’s achievement of maximum profitability and sales growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes and executes sales strategies to grow industrial sales and expand the area’s customer base while contributing to the growth and development of the Industrial team.
           
1.    PROVIDES TEAM LEADERSHIP:  10%
Effectively leads and manages all activities related to team members within assigned area (recruiting, talent management, training and development, coaching and counseling, performance management, and dismissals).
 
2.    SALES TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT: 30%

3.    SALES GROWTH AND NEW BUSINESS:30%

4.    CUSTOMER AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT: 10%

5.    RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TERRITORIES STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT & FINANCIAL PLANNING 20%

             
OTHER FUNCTIONS (NON-ESSENTIAL CLASSIFICATION):                  
1.    Able to manage data of a confidential nature.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

Mandatory Requirements-
1.    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
2.    1-3 years previous sales management and business leadership experience.


Preferred Requirements-
                                           
1.    Previous Industrial and/or Commercial Transportation experience.
2.    Familiar with industry paint lines.
3.    3-5 years outside sales experience in the PBE industry.
